"We enjoyed spending Christmas at this Chalet! Monika was a wonderful host and even provide Fondu cheese for us on our arrival. Kitchen was well equipped, hairdryer provided and espresso machine. Chalet was cozy and warm! Would definitely stay here again."

"Wonderful Wengen!!!! Loved our time here! Perfect spot for Christmas with 4 adults. The view down the valley from the chalet is magical. Perfect chalet, well appointed. Everything you need is here. Suzanne was very helpful via VRBO host contacting. The reviews are correct in that it is fairly steep hill to property, but manageable. I agree with using a taxi for arrival and departure. Wengen much better than nearby towns like Grindenwald that seemed much more congested and touristy....

The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald). "The chalet could not have been better and Anita is a great host, willing to help wherever she can. The chalet is beautifully themed, with lovely touches that make all the difference. The location is a short drive (2min) or 20min walk to Grunt station, 25min to Grindelwald Terminal - so perfect for days out in the Jungfrau region. My family loved it and we thoroughly recommend Chalet Emmely. "

"Fantastic view on the lakes and mountains, close to many hikes as well. About 15-20 minutes from Interlaken up in the mountain. Excellent equipment and beautiful terrace. Unfortunately, we tripped a breaker on our last night when my daughter tried to plug her adapter herself, losing electricity...didn't find the right box/breaker to reset ! Hopefully, nothing broke. Sorry for that."

"We stayed here to visit friends who live in zweisimmen. The house is a 10 min walk to trains or the ski hill. We loved the skiing. My wife who doesn’t ski made day trips by train to nearby towns. We thought the price was fair. The only minor down side is the step access, 100 up or 120 down. We especially loved a fire at night. Zwieimmen is a jewel of a ski town."

"We had such a good time staying here. Everything was great. We had fun pointing it out while going through the falls. Beware if you're tall because youbwill hit your head and the shower room is very low ceiling. It's completely manageable though so doesnt take away from the experience!"

Wir hatten sogar das Glück, dass es genau zur Ankunft geschneit hat und wir somit weiße Weihnachten hatten.Das Chalet ist super ausgestattet, die Lage ist angenehm ruhig und trotzdem ist man innerhalb 10 Minuten im nächsten Ort. Einfach eine 10/10. Auch der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war absolut vorbildlich Unserer Meinung nach gibt es hier nichts negatives "

"This place was our favorite stay on our honeymoon. The views are unmatched, the hot tub was perfect for relaxing at night and the place had everything we needed. It looked just like the photos. You’ll definitely need a car (or have to figure out the bus system) to get here, but we loved being in a more remote location. Truly beautiful. Highly recommend!"
