"Back yard had weeds 2 feet tall. Between deck and pier are many tree roots above ground. Steps down into the water from the pier were covered with algae. That was just like stepping on black ice. My right foot slipped and my left foot got caught in the steps and went behind me. Had to go to Ortho doctor when I got home. Left knee has a sprained MCL. "We loved our time at the cabin. It was fantastic having everything right there for us. We’re able to use the Jon boat, kayaks, and paddle boards in the lake which was so clear. "It worked great for our group. Enjoyed being by the lake. We had two pick up and trailers which we were able to get in and out with. Deck could have been blown off before we came. Out door area cobwebby but we know how fast that can happen. Grill needed a good cleaning lots of grease and drip pan full."

"This was our first time staying at this cabin. The location of the cabin is perfect. You are secluded from everyone and it really feels like you are alone which is great. The pontoon was very fun. We used to fish out of most of the week. We caught a ton of fish from the pontoon and off of the dock. The beach area is very shallow and sandy. There are weeds in the swimming area, but not too bad. The pictures online are not accurate. The furniture is different and to be honest, uncomfortable....

"This is a cute little cottage that was just what we were looking for. The lake is very clean with little boat traffic during the first week of September. It was fun watching all the people fishing for muskies beating the water into foam as they casted over and over again. The dock extends out into a part of the lake that is built up into a sandbar. "Very clean and well furnished cabin. Kitchen was well stocked with (nice) dishes, spices, etc. - far more than we’ve experienced at other rentals. Location was beautiful and close to bars, restaurants, and the Eagle River ice arena. The bed shown in the patio area is a blowup mattress, which is clearly listed in the description, but missed by me when booking. Still plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group. We would definitely rebook if in the area again!"

"Very cute cabin with a gorgeous lake view! We stayed during mid Sept and i thought it would be cooler. The cabin had no AC so that was the only thing that I didnt like. If you plan on going in late fall i think it would be perfect but summer might be warm. They had plenty of fans to help keep the place cooler. Overrall, we loved our stay here!"
