"My sister and I had a great stay at the Lake House. The house was very clean and well stocked with essentials. The location is great! Very close to Main Street activities and central to outdoor adventures. Upon arrival, the hosts had fresh baked, delicious strawberry and blueberry muffins there for us! Great place to stay!"

"My sister, nephew and I had a very enjoyable time in the Author’s Cabin. The only drawback is that we were on a main road and traffic in the am was a distraction. The fireplace is very cozy and really heats the entire cabin. I would recommend it to anyone!"

House is in perfect location for hiking, main street and restaurants. Lots of room to spread out, beautifully decorated and maintained. Gourmet kitchen and everything we needed and more. "We celebrated Christmas in Highlands with a family of 3 couples and an infant. This is my second time renting this property and it is great! Super clean, comfortable, love the 3 king bedrooms all with en-suites and the best is the large outdoor covered deck with heaters, fireplace and tv. Very well stocked kitchen. Only 1.5 mikes to downtown. Will definitely rent again. "
