"Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

"This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions. The village is great with several nice places to eat (again Tricia and Alistair gave us excellent advice), and a local bakery which will make you a packed lunch for your walks. "My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of December in the Warren room and it was so comfortable! Ziz was the perfect host, what a lovely place the Sheriff Lodge is, close to town and 5 mins from a lovely nearby pub for an evening meal. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice, the homemade granola topped with fruit was the best! Overall a wonderful place to stay and we will return in the summer.
