"I stayed here mid-September with a group of 5 other friends. The house is located ~15 minutes away from the town of Mayrhofen. The area where it is located is very quiet and peaceful - there are great views of the mountains, and there is a nice stream running directly behind the house. The house was a good base for our group - we went hiking in the mountains one day and another day we drove ~30 minutes to Hintertux to go skiing. The house is large and it was nice for everyone in our group to have their own room. There are also multiple bathrooms and showers which was nice. The house is quite basic (not luxurious) - it appears that it is used as a hostel at certain times of the year. One complaint that our group had was that one of the deciding factors in selecting this house was that it had a hot tub. When we arrived, the owner said that the hot tub was not working. He later told us that he had fixed the hot tub, however, if we wanted to use it, we needed to give him time to fill it with water and heat it up. We got the impression that the owner did not really want us using the hot tub, so our group didn't use it. If the owner is going to promote the house as having a hot tub and feature it in the pictures, I feel as though they should make sure it's working properly for all groups. That said, we had a positive overall experience with the house and would stay again. "

"We had a fantastic holiday in Mayrhofen courtesy of the Gluck auf. The suite exceeded our expectations being modern, in great condition, and perfectly equipped. The view from the balcony was amazing. The hotel itself is in a great location on the edge of town which is just a short walk away. There's plenty of inclusive parking. We were greeted by Monika who is a lovely lady and was so helpful. Highly recommended!"

"Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. Gerda and Kurt are fabulous, helpful and welcoming hosts. Can honestly say in many years of self-catering in Europe, I've never met such attentive hosts. The apartment is well-equipped and the bedrooms are excellent. The village has a nice bar and a hotel / restaurant...but no shop."

"Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. My room was lovely, with a view of the Ziller Valley. The way the hotel is designed is really clever, linking up the two pools, indoor and outdoor rooftop, which are both wonderful, as are the saunas. Food is mainly buffet and high quality. The fresh fruit for breakfast (a facet of any good hotel in my view) was ideal. Great selection of fresh breads. I was surprised...my tarrif included breakfast, late lunch and dinner. Good value. The English equivalent would possibly be a 5 star hotel in many aspects. The staff seem to take a great pride in their work, as they should do. I used some of my rusty German, but English was well spoken by the staff. The area is lovely. I was unable to walk far due to a bad leg, but got up the Penkenbahn Gondola for a drink at the top to watch the paragliders at 2000m. It was stunning and a pleasant 17 degrees at height. I know it will be very busy come ski season, but I'm sure such a well-organised place will cope well. If my leg recovers, I would like to try the Zillertal ski area. Thanks go to all involved in this marvellous business. "

"Though a 15 minute walk from the Penkenbahn ski lift , I enjoyed no being amongst all the noise of the centre. Ingrid and her husband were very pleasant hosts."

"A lovely hotel, recently modernised with excellent spa and wellness areas. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier and were very helpful. We loved the system they had for evening meals- a menu to order from at breakfast. Great choices for vegetarians and vegans too, all very tasty and beautifully presented. A ten minute walk to the gondola and town was an easy stroll and the ski lockers were also nice and clean. Happy to recommend this hotel."

"Excellent property, have to take bus to the lifts as nearest is 10km away but we got there before they opened so all is good, property very clean and tidy, lovely owner lives onsite Thankyou!"
