"We stayed here for a long weekend family reunion with 5 families, so each got a bedroom. The pictures don't give the space justice. The great room is very spacious, as are the bedrooms! We never felt cramped. Adults could spread out upstairs and kids were playing in the huge basement. The inside of the property has been very recently renovated and looks to just need some finishing touches, such as some outlet covers. Outside is also fantastic space, big and flat enough for all kinds of sports...

"The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the house was cute. Loved the screened in porch and the firepit. The only negative comment is 3 of the bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are very steep and narrow. We are in our 70s and managed but if you have people with mobility issues it could be a problem. Also, no bathroom upstairs. Both bathrooms on the main floor. Loved the location and enjoyed the shops, restaurants and winery."

The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable. A large deck with a table and various seating options was available that we did not get to utilize due to weather. "Great square footage with more room than a hotel. King bed was nice and there would be plenty of room for an air mattress and a couch sleeper in the living room. Host lives above the space and had loud music playing until past midnight. Host was under the impression we were not arriving that evening and did not send us any check in communication ahead of time."

"All the hotels were booked AND overpriced in Columbia for Homecoming…. So we ventured out to this super cute VRBO 25 miles north out in the country!! Very clean and super spacious for a one bedroom!! Could have easily fit 2 more people on the couches !! Homemade muffins and fresh eggs waiting for us !!! Definitely be back !!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our time in Columbia. It was a short weekend trip and we really only slept in the home. The neighborhood was not as nice as other neighborhoods we’ve stayed in, but it seems the town is older and there was work being done during our weekend to help improve the area. Volunteers were every where cleaning and helping the city. The home was just enough space for us."

"Hot tub was only 84 degrees so that was frustrating and a bummer I feel the pics on this listing were a tad deceiving. House much older decor etc in person that what pics led me to think. Wish it had told us sharp turn off of road to property. Everyone passed it the first time. Also Apple Maps take you across the street! "

"The property was nice and big enough for everyone. There need to be fans in every room, it was hot upstairs in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were adequate but difficult to get ready in. I realize you’re trying to keep the authenticity of the the house but bathrooms could use an update."

"We were very pleased with the house. Everything was clean and the owners were easy to communicate with. We liked that the house was a short walk to Meriweather’s for coffee and breakfast in the morning. One thing to consider - the living room furniture is very uncomfortable. Two of the chairs’ backs were broken and could only sit up if leaned against a wall. It wasn’t a big deal to us because we didn’t spend to much time in the house, but it’s worth considering if you’re looking for a house to...
