"Absolutely perfect place to escape flooded Asheville for a few days. The house is well-supplied with cooking utensils, bedding etc. Only minor moan is that we really couldn't figure out how to watch anything on TV but there's plenty of other things to do a short stroll away - a beautiful park (OK, maybe 3/4 mile), restaurants, bars etc. We recommend it highly to anyone visiting Hickory."

"We came to Hickory for my wife’s work as a traveling nurse. Our permanent residence is in Asheville (Swannanoa). Hurricane Helene had devastated WNC the week before our visit. The apartment was a great refuge for 10 days. The apartment worked great for my wife and myself. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Rachel was great host."

"Great stay, especially for the price point! You can’t get a hotel at this price/condition. Upon arrival, we were struck by the rental’s spaciousness and cleanliness!! It had everything we needed and the host was communicative. As host indicated in listing, the neighborhood setting is rural. However, it’s close to major roadways and we were pleased with location to downtown Hickory, South Mountain, etc."
