"Me and several of my friends travel every year for a guys weekend. We had a wonderful stay at this property. We drove to State College for game day and fished the Raystown lake. We enjoyed the game room for pool and football watching and enjoyed the campfire area every nigth we were there. The location was great, secluded and away from people. Ample kitchen ware for cooking, great grill and hot tub. "

"I can't say enough positive things about the River House. It was exactly as advertised. It was perfect for the Penn State game weekend. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and the place was super clean. It was very relaxing to sit on the adirondack chairs by the chairs!"

"Our stay was outstanding and really made our weekend great for our niece’s wedding. Having all of the Aunts and Uncles together was awesome!!"

"Nice place. Clean, old style authentic cabin in a nice location between Huntingdon and lake Raystown. Great for mountain biking weekend being only 4-5 miles from the main trailhead. Great deck area. Nothing fancy and maybe not beautiful place but just what you need to get away. Host is quick to respond to any text questions. "

"Had a family gathering. Site worked for our needs. Big house with lots of room. The game room was a nice extra. "

"Quiet location in a quaint little town. Enough parking for 4 vehicles and fifth extra spot. The patio is great! Beds were comfy! Plenty of hot water all around. Would visit again!"

"We came for Sci-Fi Valley Con. It was only a short distance away. The only problem we had was husband's back hurt from sleeping on a soft bed. Maybe he needed a pebble in the bed, lol. I liked that they had a snack table, with very friendly staff."
