"Oh my word! Amazing, I Booked this property only because of its location. From the lobby displaying vintage vehicles, and antiques, as well as local artisan creations. To the grounds that were immaculately maintained. Entering the room itself was also an experience, very modern, very simple, very elegant. We asked about the lovely scent of the room, “simply the cleaning products we use, all natural.” And the breakfast, 360 degrees of wonderful fruit, pastries, and savoury goodness. Traveling late in the season we unfortunately were informed the restaurant had closed for the season, I am certain it would have been worth a visit. "

"Sara and her husband were so very nice and helpful the home was spotless they left us five large bottles of water a bag of cookies, coffee herb tea everything you could really need. The real joy though was sitting on the absolutely beautiful patio deck overlooking the water, the sunsets were stunning. We only stayed for four nights but wish it had have been more, thank you so very much for the great memories we will remember for ever Peter and Sarah your new Canadian friends "

"This property is absolutely stunning. The pool is a dream. So large and the outdoors is beautifully decorated. Our communication with Rocco was great before and during our arrival and once on site. He and one of his friends helped get us a 3 hour boat tour along caves of Santa Maria De Leuca with Mari 2 Leuca. The villa is lovely and decorated in Italian style with what looked to be some classic beautiful furniture not modern. It makes the villa special. It was a little difficult to find at first as the road sign name is worn off from the sign. But once we found it it was so easy to access Castrignano or Santa Maria De Leuca. If we would ever return to this area I’d rebook in a heartbeat.We had 4 couples and it was fantastic we each had our own private bedroom that were independently air conditioned. We each had our own bathroom as well. The outdoor veranda was were we spent all our time when not in the pool. Highly recommend this property."

"When we drove into Gagliano del Capo, we weren't sure what to expect. It's a tiny, authentic Italian town with lots of charm... but didn't give much of a hint was hiding behind the walls of this amazing villa. That changed pretty fast when we opened the gate. Gorgeous gardens, lush arbors with hanging grapes, the amazing pool. We were a group of 12 with family and friends and we had an great stay here, with big dinners at the long tables both outside and in the large dining room. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and classically decorated, the grounds are beautifully cared for, and Alessandro was a helpful, friendly, and wonderful host. So was Francesco, whose family owns the place. Alessandro checked in from time to time to see if we needed anything and was quick to answer questions but otherwise left us to enjoy the space. Extremely nice guy who knows everything about the area (read the welcome manual, even if you have your visits already mapped out... it's clearly written with a lot of insight about and passion for the region). As for the location, the villa is a short drive from just about anywhere you would want to go and the town has everything you need. Plus, the pool makes for a great way to end (and sometimes start) a day of touring. Honestly, we've been staying in home rentals for over a decade, with multiple rentals per year, and this is one of our favorites. If we're ever back in the Puglia, we'll definitely stay here again. Loved it!"

"It hurts to give middling ratings. The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "
