Big Sky Lodge
2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (142)
"We were lucky enough to find a room at Big Sky short notice for a three night, two day visit of Yellowstone. It is a second generation owned non-chain hotel within bikeable, heck walkable distance to the Yellowstone north entrance. We arrived after office closing, and an enveolpe with keys was taped to the office door as promised. Easy-peasy. Adequate parking, as long as rude person doesn't soak up two spots (pet peeve) and if the hotel spots are full there are close by lit on street parking...

Avanti Motel
2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (138)
"This place is the pits. If I had a remolded room, which I did, I would hate to see an old room. No security lock on the door, the parking lot is small and unlit, in a seedy part of town. There is also no over night person working. Went to check out in the morning and lobby door was locked. Would not stay here again."
Avanti Motel
Mystic Valley Inn
2.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (186)
"Worst motel stay ever. Cheaply built and furnished prefab building we were in was poorly managed, poorly maintained. First room we were given had not been cleaned - trash, dirty dishes, dirty bedding. Second room had no heat on a night when it snowed. Off-site owner was no help - a friend of the owner and her husband tried to help, fixed the heater temporarily, and brought a space heater on the second day. Owner did not respond to text. AND it was expensive."
