"We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Should not be listed on Hotels.com. They are not a proper business. They close and lock up at 9pm, with no desk or contact - so you can't get in. Good luck turning up here after dinner… it's in the middle of nowhere and you are stuck!"

"We were only looking for an overnight stay as we were attending an event so it suited our purpose. There is a small car park here, but note you have to prebook your space which was something we didnt pick up on beforehand. Our room was of good size with comfortable bed.
