"This is a relatively large resort compared to its sister properties. The locals here are very lucky to have an oasis like this where they can dine, gamble, or just hang out as well or even better than any other property in Vegas. But GVR has the advantage of not being crowded, unlike resorts on the Strip, which makes it a very chill and relaxing place to spend some leisure time. The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the gorgeous pool courtyard and the room itself was nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. The only nitpicks we had were the worn out toilet seat that was ready to be replaced and a few spots that could've been cleaned better. But overall the room was a great value, especially for the price. The casino has a wide selection of slots and enough that you won't be surrounded by a crowd of players. The casino also does a very good job of smoke control as I didn't even notice any smoking odors as I walked around. Every worker I interacted with was very friendly and hospitable. In short, GVR made a great impression on me and I look forward to staying there again."
