"Last minute family trip and chose Cinnamon Red. Family member had to work remotely and good wifi connection throughout the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location in that transport readily available, supermarket nearby and bar and coffee shops nearby. Would recommend Cinnamon Red."

"We flew into Colombo and reserved a pickup through the hotel. Although we were almost an hour late our driver was there awaiting us. Vehicle was clean and comfortable and the drive into the city uneventful. Upon arrival at the hotel we were made to feel more than welcome, checking was quick and we were shown to our room. Although it was smaller than most we have stayed in it was very clean and not rundown in appearance. The staff was more than helpful in providing an explanation if the area and directions to various places in the vacinity. Checkout was equally easy and transport made available to the cruise port. Anyone planning a trip to Colombo I would definitely recommend staying here. "

"The hotel was clean and quiet. I stayed on first week of Dec, occupancy seems pretty low if I judged it based on the number of room lights that were on during evening/night time. Staffs greeted me everywhere I go. Breakfast food was alright, i would say variety is alright, taste wise was a little blend in general. Hot food was not warm enough, except for curry. Gym was huge and had a lot of machines available. There is only a shopping mall nearby. There is also a beach nearby, but other than that not much places of interest within walking distance. Overall, still a good stay."
