However, the staff were helpful with what the hotel did offer, and the breakfast was lovely. "Stayed at The Waterfront Lodges many times now. Room was warm and spacious. Clean and plenty of towels. Hot tub was wonderful on such a cold break. Staff helpful and welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay. Alison is brilliant. Breakfast a little disappointing and the morning food area could do with a clean over. Would still be happy to stay and recommend to anyone who likes to relax in a warm hot tub looking at the ducks. And if you want a big breakfast, the room has a fridge so just...

"Had a great stay here rooms are very nice & would stay again. Only very small negative was check out time on my booking said 12pm, we had a cleaner walk in without knocking at 10:30 & then at 11:30 knocking to ask if we where leaving soon. I understand completely they have rooms to turn round & the mistake at coming in the first time I would have forgiven as a mistake but being rushed then at 11:30 it just felt like they wanted us out. "
