"My room was on the top floor and I had a number of heavy suitcases, so carrying them up was quite exhausting after a long flight and ride from Schiphol. In late August, the room was very warm as it had a glass door on one side and three large windows/doors on the other. So sun most of the day. "We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "What a wonderful apartment! Central location with easy access to shops and restaurants as well as easy access to the Floriade. Apartment was clean and well equipped with linens, soaps, and kitchen supplies. Amsterdam and the airport are but a short train ride away. Paul was a great host, even taking us for a tour of Almere’s canals. Check in and out was a breeze. We highly recommend this apartment to others."

"Very modern and comfortable studio apartment In a quiet neighborhood. It was convenient to go by bus/train wherever we wabted, only 30 minutes to Amsterdam. "A lovely well equipped property with everything you would need to enjoy a leisurely home from home holiday. The kitchen area is small - but hey you are on holiday why spend all day cooking? Dining area was great, sitting room had a really comfy sofa and TV, fabulous king size bed and double shower in the shower room. Quiet location and the hosts are so lovely. Made us feel so welcome. We didn't spend much time with them but they were there if we needed them. Loved it! Thank you so much."
