"Beautiful property with wonderful HostsErwin and Kim. The cottage was perfect with scenic views of wildlife and the countryside. We rented one of the electric boats for a day of canal exploring and a ride to town. Road the E-bikes around the countryside and to town. ALL their restaurant recommendations were excellent. Definitely would recommend this property for a quiet weekend or for families with children."

"Cora’s place was very comfortable and suitable for our family of 5 for a visit to Amsterdam. Beds are comfortable, water pressure amazing , neighborhood is calm and orderly. "Lake House 74 exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 6 - 2 couples with our adult children. The location of the house was perfect - just outside of Leiden, situated along a canal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Stephan was easy to contact, very responsive to all of our requests, and made us feel at home. He also had great suggestions for local activities. Be sure to rent a boat and drive through the canals to get to the center of Leiden. I would stay here again...

"My family of four had the pleasure of staying at this property. We found it nicely away from the city while still being readily accessible via bike and bus. The nearby park is beautiful, and you can enjoy the singing of local troops of young equestrians as they practice in the park. The house is nice and comfortable. We found it particularly clean. Would wholly recommend a stay here."

"We had a really relaxing time here. The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and helpful and if you want to lean more about the windmill then Google 'Vrouwgeest windmill' and learn how it has been in his family since 1797.
