"Great owner and staff. Friendly, helpful and pleasant in every way. Nice night life bar area and a great German style breakfast. Arrived too late for an evening meal but based on how busy the eating areas were I would expect the food to be excellent too. A must stay if anywhere in the area. We drove from Colmar and was well worth the drive."

"Comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchen for communal use. There is no elevator in this lodging, and all rooms require at least a short climb up steps. Located in a beautiful old neighborhood with a bakery close by. Within an easy walk of the old city. We did not drive so can't comment on parking. "We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. Each hallway is named after a different European country, with the individual rooms named after major cities, which fits into the theme of the European guesthouse. "We loved this place. The room was very spacious and had a kitchen well equipped. The bathroom was also big and we loved the balcony! The breakfast was excellent. We had a great experience there and would definitely come back given the opportunity. Would highly recommend it! Oh, and free wine tasting!!"
