"Great owner and staff. Friendly, helpful and pleasant in every way. Nice night life bar area and a great German style breakfast. Arrived too late for an evening meal but based on how busy the eating areas were I would expect the food to be excellent too. A must stay if anywhere in the area. We drove from Colmar and was well worth the drive."

"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. "I had a terrible experience with Villa 12 Guesthouse. I traveled a long way from US to Swiss (Villa 12 is on the border between Swiss and France), and had to work on the arriving day, so I got at the Villa 12 Guesthouse around 8:30pm, that is very normal time for a hotel/Guesthouse check-in time. But to my surprise, the main Gate of the Villa 12 is tightly closed, and the guesthouse building looks dark, did not seem there were people living in it. "Our apartment was definitely a lot more dated than the one shown in the Hotels.com pictures, so that’s a bit misleading. Second room with the bunk bed actually had no window for example. However, for an overnight stop to accommodate five people I think the ResidHotel still offers good value. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The lad at reception could not have been more helpful, and the location is pretty good. We also used their secure onsite parking. "
