It would have been great if the property had been warmer when we arrived. It did warm up but it would have been nice to not have to find the heating as the very first thing on entry. For a property that caters for so many people, there was a shortage of saucepans. However, overall, we were very happy."

"The first thing that struck us when we arrived was how clean and beautiful the place was. Julie, Louise and Clare were very welcoming, and a great source of local knowledge if like us you aren't from the area. The location is great but you really need a car to take advantage of the area, its about 30mins from the nearest beach, and we drove for 10 min to do a bit of rambling at the Wolds top, and viking way. "Beautiful converted shipping container with a small hot tub, overlooking fields with horses. Also 1 hour's access to the on-site swimming pool, which was a lovely touch. There is another lodge not far away, and people can access the horse field, but it still felt private enough. It is worth mentioning that there is a hairdryer, a fan, shampoo and conditioner, towels and kitchen utensils, and washing up liquid, all provided.
