"This location was ideal for us and our dogs as we needed to escape the madness of fireworks over Halloween and enjoy a quiet countryside break. The property was clean and well cared for and had all the facilities we needed. "This house is set up perfectly for adults traveling with their school aged kids. Separate lounges with multiple doors in between allow for privacy and quiet. The only slight discomfort is the heat pump/sump pump that runs often but at uneven intervals. You soon learn to tune it out, but it can be distracting at first. Beautiful and comfortable home."

"The house is nice with an amazing view. Had all we needed for a great stay. Waking up to the beautiful lake and mountain views was great. My kids also loved the place, there are sheep right next to the property and all the way up the mountain, the loved calling to the sheep. The owner is really nice and also close by if there are any problems (we had no problems). I’d definitely recommend this place."

"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"The location of this property was ideal from quick access to Galway to the very good restaurants and pubs within a 10 min walk. The property is on the smaller size, perfect for my wife and I, but would also be ok with adding 2 children. Yvonne was fantastic! We would definitely recommend!"

"The apartment was fabulous! The only negative was the check in/out process. You have to check in at the Western hotel, which means you have to park in the hotel's underground parking which is a disaster and you have to repeat the whole crazy process on check out. Once we got into the apartment it was lovley."
