"Wonderful staff, very friendly and welcoming. Hotel lobby and facilities are very nice. Room I had was small but ideal for two nights. "

"This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15...

"The reception area and areas in the hotel were amazing. The rooms some of the lamps didn’t work and under the bed wasn’t as clean as should be but still a very nice stay. Breakfast seemed warm but not hot "

"Love the size of the rooms and the large bathrooms beds very comfortable bedding well laundered. Near to town centre overall can’t find any fault ,well thought out hotel "
