"Visited for our 32nd wedding anniversary and was not disappointed. Booked a classic double room but when we arrived were informed that they upgraded us to an executive room which was really large and immaculately prepared. We had use of the spa facilities if needed for additional cost but free use of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna for 1 hour per day which made for a relaxing time after a long walk around York. Upon entry the reception, lobby, dining and bar areas are impressive displaying hardwood panelled walls, stained glass windows and various antiques. "Great 2 night stay. Room was ready on arrival at lunchtime which was a huge bonus. Staff very friendly The hotel was very clean and well decorated. Superb breakfast which set us up for the day. Near the train station and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants."

"Lovely stay at this hotel which is conveniently situated to get around Harrogate on foot. Good parking under the hotel too. Credit to the cleaning staff who do a great job keeping rooms to a high standard! "

"The only downside to the stay was only having one lift working. This was simply not a great experience waiting over 15 minutes to get down for breakfast and departure. When carrying heavy bags stairs from 11th floor not an option"
