"My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! "

"This cabin was just PERFECT! Had absolutely everything we needed was quiet and serene yet not remote. A quick 15 minute ride into downtown Galena. Fair enough a way to avoid crowds on a holiday weekend yet quick and easy to get to town. Loved seeing the steer on the lawn/pasture above and below the cabin. We had a tiny issue checking in, but the property manager was very responsive and took care of it right away. Highly recommend staying here "

"I was originally looking for a place to rent for just two of us to celebrate my 40th birthday until I saw this house. In that moment I could picture it filled with friends from various areas of my life, all together under this giant roof for one weekend. Luckily for me, my friends agreed so we booked it for 3 nights in mid-September. The house is even better than pictured, and a perfect place to share with a large group. We had 12 adults total, some overlapping by leaving earlier or arriving...
