"Wonderful hotel with beautiful pastel colored buildings. Marriott quality with a Bonaire flair! Loved the infinity pool and buffet breakfast area overlooking pool and canal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kayaking around hotel and area canals is scenic, easy access, and fun. Very laid back property and gorgeous. We were sad to leave. Be sure to rent a truck and go to the National Park! "

"Easy access to/from airport. Lovely dock with sunset views and great snorkeling and plunge pool. We used the dining decos list to book 4 awesome dinners and there’s a restaurant and bar next door. Room was clean and well equipped with a small balcony. Staff were very hospitable and there when you needed something. "

I also had **specific comfort requests**, and he went out of his way to accommodate them, ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. For **scuba divers**, this resort is a dream! The dive facilities are **well-organized and easily accessible**, with rinse stations and seamless excursions. "This was our third stay at Captain Don's, we loved it as much as the first time, in 1998. We were upgraded to the deluxe oceanfront suite, great view, large room. 2 pools at the resort. Staff helped us with car rental options after the place we reserved with had no cars. We enjoy being in the quieter area away from town. Having a car is needed if you want to explore the island (which you definitely should) but, if you don't have a car, there's a supermarket and some restaurants walkable to the resort. Onsite dining and bar at the resort as well. Bar bites and pizza on site in addition to the full restaurant. The reef to the right was good for snorkeling, plus 2 resident tarpon had out under the restaurant. "

"Great location, on the water, beautiful views, though no beach access. It’s next to Captain Don’s dive shop but YOU CANNOT DIVE WITH CAPTAIN DON’S as they only allow divers staying with them to dive there. You can eat at their restaurant and use their dock steps for a shore dive. Buddy Dive is conveniently next door to Captain Don’s. Nice parking spot. Has a place to rinse dive equipment & clotheslines. Lovely back porch. Clean. Will return! "
