"It is clean / better to say -new resort. The unit is the smallest of the complex but still enough for up to 2 people. Perfect bed - to have a good sleep. Fully equipped and offer very good water access and shower/storage room Very nice and responsive host / nothing to complain - just a wish to have a bit bigger balcony with a table but even this was OK to have a breakfast with seaview. "What a perfect location.....right on the water. We snorkeled right from the property everyday, sometimes twice a day. Delightfully pleasant unit with every convenience we could have asked. The owners and their property caretaker were very easy to work with. We had no problems at all and are looking forward to staying here again next year! Very close to dive sites like Salt Pier, Alice in Wonderland, Hilma Hooker, etc. (2 - 5 minutes down road). Rinse tanks were very nice with a private locker for gear. The condo itself is very nice but the furniture could use some updating. It is ideally located if you like walking along the waterfront and has easy walking access to a tonne of great restaurants. The one drawback is noise...if you are sensitive to noise - trucks from the commercial pier drive by throughout the day every day! That said, if noise is not an...

"The Lac Bay Casitas are a bit too remote if you are looking for easy access to nightlife and shopping. But this is a great home base if your main reason for visiting Bonaire is windsurfing. You need a vehicle. Windsurf equipment rentals and sailing (Sorobon Beach) is 5 minutes away. The apartment isn't fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet.
