Hamlet Villa 2, also known as Ocean Blue, is located in a small resort area. Ocean Blue is 2 stories, with 4 furnished bedrooms, aircondition and private balcony. With excellent facilities and amenities close by, it’s easy to see why visitors love this oceanfront villa in Bonaire! This four bedroom, four bath villa is an island retreat with calming blue accents throughout.
The popular dive site, The Cliff, is only 100 feet from the beach and there’s a dive shop right next door and diving schools within walking distance. Enjoy the incredible diving and snorkeling before returning to your villa for incredible views.
Step out on the balcony from your bedroom or take in the ocean view from the veranda that’s outfitted for an afternoon of eating and relaxing or catching a stunning sunset. Inside the villa, you’ll find three bedrooms upstairs and a large bedroom downstairs, as well as the kitchen and living room. Up to eight guests can be accommodated in this fine vacation rental and the unit shares a pool with the other units of the Hamlet Oasis Complex.

A stay in this villa gives you access to the Captain Don's Habitat water access for swimming, diving and snorkeling.

Additional costs will be charged if consumption exceeds 35kWh per day.

Amazing place.
So easy to dive from. Just a very short walk from the back door to 2 dive sites. We did 30 dives in the 8 days we were here and doing night dive right out the back door was perfect. We actually could eat and sleep a little this time in Bonaire. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us.

The property was perfect for our family of five. The view was incredible, and the house has all of the amenities we were looking for during our vacation. The hosts were incredibly attentive, and even stocked the house with snacks and drinks so that we had something available upon arrival. Really great experience and I would gladly do it again!

just the nicest place to stay!! beautiful and great location
the communications were completely great and we loved the house. we were even met at the airport to follow our host to the house - so welcoming! the place was big and spacious with covered outdoor dining and waterfront with chaise lounge chairs. Location between Capt Don's and the Divers Friends dive shops was so convenient. (There was loud construction from next door and some dust but definitely not the owners' fault and we were warned. Noise stopped by 4 pm daily)

a bit of paradise
A beautiful setting overlooking the sea from a spacious veranda with sunsets every evening. Amazing snorkeling at your doorstep. The family took diving lessons at the hotel next door. The lay out of the house worked perfectly for us, all seemed bright and new. The restaurant next door is excellent. I will definitely come back and recommend this to my friends.

I don't usually do reviews but the unit was great. Everything was as advertised. Even small things like the towels being good quality and having an ample supply. There were even clothes lines and clothes pins there. I would highly recommend the unit AND the management company. Paradise rentals was very easy to deal with and communications were answered very quickly. If this unit is not available for our next trip to Bonaire we will definitely use Paradise rentals to find something for us. Great folks. Very accommodating and very personable folks.

Practically Perfect
My wife and two daughters (16, 10) were recently SCUBA certified, and I was excited to introduce them to the amazing underwater world around Bonaire. Pre trip communication was easy and fast with Monique, and she and Marion met us at the airport and took us directly to the property and left us with a bag of groceries-beer, wine, soda, bread, butter, chips, etc. The property is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The house is located in the corner of the Hamlet Oasis community, so its very private. Large air conditioned bedrooms and with comfy beds. A well stocked kitchen adjoins the living area (air conditioned), but the outdoor space is the best. The outdoor area is covered and steps from the ocean, with a large table that seats 6 easily, and plenty of comfy seating for relaxing. The location is amazing as well. It's a 25 meter walk to Capn Dons Habitat which has an amazing pool, Rum Runners restaurant, and two docks with steps into the ocean where you can start/finish dives. Great for night diving. The Cliff dive site is directly in front of the house. There is also a nice rinse station and an outdoor lockable room to hang/store wet dive gear. There are several dive companies/shops within a couple hundred meters of the house. Dive Friends (we used them this time-they were great), Buddy Dive, and Capn Dons. There is a supermrket a few hundred meters north of the house and Kralendijk central is a short drive south. You really can't go wrong with this property.

Leuk, ruim huis met een grote overkapping en een fantastisch uitzicht .
Een ruim huis met een grote overkapping eraan met een prachtig uitzicht over de oceaan . Leuke locatie , zeker voor het duiken/snorkelen . Het huis is wel erg gedateerd. Prima bedden en alles functioneert. Agentschap erg attent.

Great Vacation
Reef in front of property has tons of fish! Saw a turtle, two flounders, and 3 eels just to mention some rare sightings. Spent hours snorkeling! Easy access from Captain Don’s dock. Rum Runner’s is fantastic, really close walk! Make reservations ahead for dinner. Watching sunsets from the front of the house was a nightly event!! Beautiful! House was great!

Great house for a dive trip destination
Great location! House layout is great (4 bedrooms) and the view is fantastic. Easy access to local services and of course, diving locations. We experienced the pre-tropical storm/hurricane version of Hurricane Ian, receiving a couple of inches of rain and 25-30 mph winds. There are no weatherstripping seals on the doors, so we did get a lot of water coming into the bedrooms, but it was an easy clean up. Door locks work but they are difficult to operate. Kitchenware (e.g., knives, pots) could use an upgrade. With that said, overall it was a great experience with minor complications. Really enjoyed our time here.

We were awed by the perfect location on the water, steps to two easy water access points, short stroll to town. Large covered deck where the 6 adults could stretch out or find private spots and dine together at the large table. Fantastic responsive service from our hosts. The view is outstanding, and the reef out front is spectacular. The property manager arranged for the refridgerator to be stocked on arrival. The beds are very comfortable. Air conditioners work great. Joey the cat came by each day to keep us company - very sweet. The house needs some TLC, which limited our enjoyment. Patio door wouldn’t open on arrival; they fixed it next day. Drawers stuck. No wine opener. Odd collection of kitchen supplies. Lights were out in stairway and hall so had to rely on flashlight to go to bed at night. The gas to stove was turned off so we had to call to get instructions to turn it on. Hot water heater broke towards end of our stay. Shower gurgled when toilet flushed. All little things but got to be irritating. To be clear, there is no water entry out front. They recommend entry right next door at Captain Dons. It is quite easy, and I gather the resort doesn’t mind sharing their pier.

Stayed in Hamlet Oasis #2 (also called Ocean Blue) during early August, 2021. Weather was hot and mostly sunny during our week there even though hurricanes were impacting Florida and the US east coast at the same time.Hurricane season stays north of Bonaire, generally, and this year was no exception. We rented a truck from Poppy at Telerin Auto Rental and were able to park the truck right next to the front door of the unit. We had no issues of petty theft or disturbance of any kind during our visit and we left the truck open and windows down the entire time. The unit itself is in good condition. Each of the three upstairs bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. The lower level has a bedroom with separate sitting area (with a round dining table and four chairs) and the bathroom is in the hallway, open to the kitchen and living room. The bedroom and sitting area are separated by a curtain which blocked enough light for very comfortable sleeping. The downstairs bedroom also has an in-room safe large enough for a 17 inch laptop and other small items. It is a standard hotel room safe. The kitchen was well equipped with a standard size gas cooktop and oven and a newer full-sized refrigerator/freezer. The freezer had some ice packs in it which we used to keep water cold between dives. We cooked all our breakfasts and lunches in the unit and took out dinners from local restaurants since we were still in Covid times. The air conditioning units in each room worked great and kept us very comfortable. Each room has its own unit and a ceiling fan. Beds were clean and comfortable. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels were available and we used the wash machine midweek. Check the laundry room before buying soap - there was plenty there from earlier visitors. The WiFi was inadequate for heavy usage and we ended up using cellular hotspots for work. The WiFi functioned sporadically - this caused work related conferences to disconnect and reconnect. The WiFi was adequate for email and simple browsing. We did not turn on any TV or radio while in the unit, so nothing else to say there. Communications with the rental agency were superb and they answered all our questions very efficiently. We had no issues with the checkin or checkout process and the VRBO payment platform worked fine.

Perfect stay in perfect villa
A location of the villa is very advantageous. In the neighbourhood are situaded diving bases and a lot of bars and restaurants. Even so, it is a relativelly quiet place. The villa is very good furnished and is large enough to give to everyone comfort. We spent beautiful days here and we recommend to everyone, especially divers, to also try it. Villa Ocean Blue
Everything was fantastic. A driver from the rental agency met us at the airport with a key, then a driver from Caribe rental car took us to office to rent a truck. We were at the apartment within an hour or so of landing! Couldn't be any better. Everybody was very friendly. The apartment itself was great for us. Plenty of bedrooms, good air conditioning, nice amenities, plenty of towels, great yard with outdoor furniture, right on the water...well not on a beach directly as that is pretty rare in Bonaire, but water access was within 1 minute walk. A one minute walk the other direction was the bar at Captain Don's. The complex was busy enough to feel like a mini-resort but not so busy as to feel crowded or hurried. Owners left a very nice outline of things including the best grocery stores, etc. WiFi worked well, so say my kids. Dive facilities on-site with Dive Friends. Very reasonably priced rentals and classes. We will do this exact vacation again!
