"We had a very nice and comfortable stay. The place has a very nice view of river with sunset. The owners are very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. It is equipped with washing machine which is a plus for those on long trips. Location-wise, it is easier for those who drive. We will definitely visit again next time. "

"Beautifully presented, great facilities - kitchen/fridge/stove/hot water, with utensils and supplies - and excellent bathroom with spa/ excellent toilet/basin with heaps of towels. Separate bed ( Queen - bit hard) and upstairs futon room for 2-3 more people. Nice garden, quiet area, narrow drive and road entry( typical rural roads). "

"It was a quiet and serene place at the end of the road, by the sea with the ocean waves moving to shore below, and the sounds of a busy and noisy society far away. You could even see the stars and planets at night in the darkness."

"the place has beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean , the hotel have walking trail to the cliff and so scenic. This boutique hotel is located at the end of the island and newly renovated. Good gesture of free flow coffee,drinks and ice cream. Include alcohol on house drinks at 7-9pm. The breakfast was wonderful , Italian spread. we stay 2 nights(Tues &Wed) the Italian restaurant was closed for both days. We are disappointed as this hotel has only 2 dinner options and the Japanese dinner is pretty expensive. "

"Great host, very helpful. We stayed for 1 night during May. The cabin was very spacious and had some lovely touches, upstairs screen to stream from, free tea and coffee. The cabin is a detached building separate from the main building that has the shared bathroom in. The cabin also has no sink or toilet you have to also go into the main building which is not really clear in the description. Also be aware when booking that access to the property is via a sunken bridge (no sides or barriers) over the Shimanto River which we had to drive across after heavy rainfall. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and remembered us when we came back for a second time. We were able to safely store our two bikes in their office which was very important to us. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great and close to restaurants. Highly recommend!"
