"Mistakenly booked the Hasting hotel when I meant to book Grand Island as was flying out of the CNRA (airport) the next day. I was unable to switch locations through Hotel.com (which was a little frustrating but I agreed to the terms when I booked it—my bad and theirs as would have been nice to do). "It’s a fun hotel with cool decor very convenient to the highway at a good price. While it was newly remodeled with lots of modern touches, it remained a little dinged up. Paint on the bathroom door was chipped in several places, there were scuffs on the stairs and floorboards in the hallway. The glass front needed to be cleaned and front entry was dingy. "You could tell was an older motel but it was clean. Staff were awesome. Whatever we wanted or needed, they got it for us. Housekeeping staff were very helpful. I would stay there again. Bad thing was no yellow pages to find good food."
