Close to hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, rafting, kayaking, fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, old "ghost towns" to explore, mining history... Within an hour - Breck, Copper Mtn, Vail, and Monarch ski resorts as well as Leadville if you're participating in or spectating at one of their events!

Have an adventure, come back to watch the sunset over Marmot and East Buffalo Peak then head to town for a nice dinner and drinks!

Perfection!
The pictures do not do this place justice. Private setting in the pine trees, fire pit for s’mores, perfect layout for a family, super clean, INCREDIBLE Mountain View from the front porch. It was perfect for our family of 5. It is a bit of a drive to Buena Vista, but it’s a beautiful drive and we preferred being out in the country.

Better than pictured
Awesome stay! The kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. The cabin is nicely decorated. We found a corn hole set in the shed and enjoyed playing one evening. Alex quickly answered questions. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Awesome house and views
Beautiful home out in the mountains. Definitely remote. 20 miles to Buena Vista and 27 miles to Fairplay. All amenities at this house were perfect. The roads in the Ranch of the Rockies are as described by owner and a bit rough in spots but okay. Would recommend if you are looking for a remote place to stay and relax.

Quiet and comfortable, with great view and location.
A beautiful cabin that has all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood where we could enjoy a nice meal on the deck while watching the sun set behind the mountains. A fantastic place for our dogs to play outside. Cabin was clean and beds were super comfy. Thanks for having us!
