"This property was better than we could have imagined! We brought e-bikes with us and were pleasantly surprised to find numerous trails to bike/walk on around the pond and through the woods. It was so private and peaceful. Choice of 3 fire pits to catch any view you like and 2 docks to fish from or have breakfast. Kayak and paddle boat to play on the pond. The house was super clean and well appointed, bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed."

"The home has been completely remodeled on the inside. It was a very cute cozy little cottage. I would definitely stay again when/if I'm in the area. "

"Awesome stay for 5 nights, nice and quiet. Location is pretty good considering there a dollar general right up the road if you forget anything. I really appreciate and love the kitchen setup with teas, honey, and coffee with a great little breakfast table☕️ Perfect little stay, thank you 🙏 "

"Overall, this property is quite nice. There was only a couple of issues that future guests should know. First is the well-reported issue with the passcode for the gate and front door to the cottage. The owner was quick to respond to our messages regarding this matter. After we got that sorted out, there were no further problems with the passcode. Second is the solar-powered gate. "We enjoyed a relaxing time with family and friends at the Riverhouse Retreat. The outdoor patio served as pur favorite spot tonwatch movies, play games, and eat together. The spacious kitchen provided space for us to cook together while enjoying each other's company. We are already looking forward tonour next visit."
