"This is the second time we have enjoyed staying at this house. It is quite comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. The host is very kind and has always provided quick responses to booking and house entering and exiting information. We also really enjoyed Happy Hour and dinner at Rising Sun Bar & Kitchen which is a very short walk from the house. "

"This is a cute property on Rtes. 11-15 near Duncannon, PA. We first came here as a place to recuperate from an operation which worked out quite well. We liked it so much, we came back two more times. Our daughter from Philadelphia joined us on all visits. We will be back."

"The Shoe House was the perfect stay for our anniversary. This is a historical gem you don’t want to miss! So much history and nostalgia exists within the property, it is on amazing grounds, and the hot tub is piping hot! Perfect for relaxing on a crisp fall night! Plus, how cool is it that you get to say you stayed in a shoe!!! The owners/host were super responsive, no issues with access, and the shoe had all of the amenities we needed and more! Super comfy bed. Thanks for recognizing first...
