The house is located in a small fishing village north of Lanzarote, in the Municipality of Haría and the Arrieta neighborhood. Five minutes away you can visit the Cave of the Greens and the Jameos del Agua. 25 km from the airport, it is easily accessible to discover Lanzarote in an area away from mass tourism and where you will feel like an islander relaxing by the sea.

Quiet and pleasant

Very nice villa with lovely views over the ocean. Very useful having a washing machine and somewhere to hang clothes to dry. Very clean on arrival and gaining access to the property was easy. Would be helpful to have a welcome letter or pack. We weren't sure initially what to do with the rubbish. This was quickly sortedand our host was easy to contact so we should have asked her but didn't want to be annoying. Warter pressure/availability was a bit variable, not a major problem and as i understand it this can be an issue in many small villages in Lanzarote. This is in no way a complaint and really shouldn't put anyone off. We had a great time!

Emplacement très bien mais appartement à améliorer

L'appartement est placé en plein centre de la petite commune d'Arrieta que nous aimons beaucoup, c'était notre deuxième séjour dans cette commune. L'appartement est dans un logement ancien, du coup l'aménagement n'est pas terrible. La chambre parentale donne sur la rue, du bruit le matin et pas beaucoup de lumière, à part si on ouvre les volets mais à ce moment les gens du trottoir voient tout dans la chambre. La chambre avec les deux lits simples donne sur la cuisine et n'a pas de fenêtre sur l'extérieur. Il n'y a pas de salon, un vrai canapé nous a beaucoup manqué. La cuisine est très bien équipée, c'est la pièce à vivre, mais elle n'a pas non plus d'ouverture sur l'extérieur et reste donc sombre. Le toit terrasse est très agréable. La propreté n'était pas parfaite. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour mais la prochaine fois nous chercherons un logement qui permette de mieux profiter du soleil, ce que nous étions venu chercher en février.

Bättre by än lägenhet - Attention läs till slutet!

Takterrassen är fin, resten av lägenhet har inga fönster och vissa rum har inget dagsljus. I praktiken är det två rum och kök + takvåning, resten är smala korridorer. Allt funkar ok och utrustningsnivån är ok. Tvättmöjligheterna är mycket bra. Byn, stranden och omgivningarna är mycket bra och det finns många intressanta utflykter att göra. Bussarna går ganska ofta. Supermarket är mycket nära och OK, det går dock inte att köpa färsk fisk eller kött i byn. Restaurangerna, speciellt Amanecer och La Casita de La Playa är riktigt bra och prisvärda. Det finns en granne med problem som kan vara allvarligt störande. Situationen skall vara snart löst, men kontrollera det med hyresvärden. Det står inte i annonsen

Heerlijk huisje, je hoort en ziet de zee vanaf het dakterras. Dakterras is als een woonkamer. Huis heeft woonkeuken maar niet echt een zitgedeelte. Zeer centraal gelegen in rustig dorpje vol goede restaurantjes.

Sauber, viel Platz, aber dunkel, muffig und schlecht zu lüften

Eigentlich allerbeste Lage, mitten in Arrieta (unser Lieblingsplatz auf Lanzarote), nah am Meer, ein Katzensprung zum gut sortierten Supermarkt und zum Strand...alles sauber, gutes Küchensortiment und zur Begrüßung Wein und lokales Gebäck. Für zwei Erwachsene ist sehr großzügiger Wohnraum. Es könnte alles wunderbar sein! Aber für uns, die wir uns nicht nur zum Schlafen in unserer Ferienwohnung aufhalten wollen ist das große Manko, daß die Wohnung kaum zu lüften ist: Ein Fenster liegt zur Straße (das heißt, man/frau muß dabei sitzen beim Lüften) und dann nur noch ganz kleine Fensterchen (die wir nach langem Suchen gefunden und geöffnet haben). Danach schließt sich der Wohnflur an, von dem ein weiteres Zimmer abgeht (ohne Fenster nach draußen, sondern zur Küche) und dann folgt die Küche mit einer Tür zur Dachterrasse (der Aufgang ist mit Kunststoff überdacht und speichert prächtig die Wärme) und das war es mit frischer Luft. Trotz bereitgestellter Ventilatoren und abendlichem Lüften (wenn wir von Ausflügen zurückkamen haben wir vor dem Haus zum Lüften gesessen) war Schlafen ein sehr muffige und warme Angelegenheit. Wir haben es nach 1 Woche nicht mehr ausgehalten. Auf der Dachterrasse umweht man/frau gelegentlich der Fritierduft der nahegelegenen Restaurants und in die Ohren dringt das fast ständig laufende Radio oder die Streitereien (oder waren es nur laute Gespräche??) der Nachbarn in der ersten meernahen Häuserfront. Wer ein preiswerte Unterkunft an einem wunderschönen Ort sucht ist gut bedient. Wir waren es nicht, sehr schade.

Agréable séjour

La maison de Carmen est idéalement située pour visiter l île Lanzarote. Elle est en cœur de village avec terrasse vue sur l océan. Face au petit supermarché, c est aussi très pratique et le restaurant à cotê est excellent! Les nuits sont très calmes. Nous nous sommes régalés!

Mon mari et moi avons passé d'excellentes vacances à la Casa Terrera qui est un bon point de départ pour découvrir l'île tout en étant en dehors des grosses zones touristiques.La maison était conforme à l'annonce et confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les repas sur la terrasse avec vue sur la mer et le bruit des vagues comme fond musical. Merci pour ce séjour.

RELAXING HOLIDAY IN A LOVELY SPANISH HOUSE

House is in a perfect location close to all amenities. Well equipped with everything you need and plenty of sun on the two large roof terraces. Good restaurants close by and a great beach a short walk away. Great having Rosa and Jose next door if you need anything. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet holiday in a traditional Spanish home.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful village

This was our second visit to this apartment. The best things about it are the position...right in the centre of the village close to beaches, supermarket , and the wonderful El Amanacer restaurant. The private roof terraces give you a choice of sun or shade all day. We were rather unlucky in having a pretty stormy week of weather...How often does it rain all day in Lanzarote??Jose Javier is next door if you need any help...brush up on your Spanish though! Arrieta is such a lovely quiet place to chill out....and the week we were there the surf was really good...if that's your thing.. We will definitely return for a third visit when we can.

Homely, not just a holiday let.

Loved the quirkiness of this super home from home - the window from the second bedroom into the kitchen, the endless roof terraces, the hallway lounge and the location of the bathroom. It all made it special but different. Had everything we needed and more. Great location for the beach, the underrated and unspoilt northern part of the island, the supermarket just across the road and a wide selection of local restaurants. Lovely area for walking also.

Sehr netter Empfang mit Begrüßungspaket (Wein und Snacks), Wohnung geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Schöne Dachterasse mit Blick aufs Meer, etwas dunkel, da wenig Fenster. Arrietea ist ein sehr angenehmer Ort, klein, sauber, viele gute Restaurants. Der Supermarkt gegenüber hat alles, was man braucht.

Very nice holiday in Arrieta

Very nice house in the center of Arrieta on the Main Street with wonderful view from the terrace to the sea. A quiet place to stay or to live with very nice people that will always be there if you need something. We spend a week in a traditional Spanish house and we were like at home with two rooms(a great bedroom and a small one with 2 beds), a very spacious kitchen (microwave, oven and everything you need to cook)and a wonderful terrace with barbecue and everything. We thank Jose Javier for everything and the warm welcome. We recommend warmly the house and Arrieta when you wish a relaxed holiday. I was totally forgot the beach bar and most importantly the vw “bully” where you can drink a cocktail or maybe one beer if you like . From Germany viele Grüße

A wonderful apartment in a beautiful village!

We have just returned from 14 days in lovely Arrieta...What a find!...The village itself has a beautiful beach..La Garita- only 100 metres away. As well as this, there is a wonderful little sea pool which is usable if the surf is up...Everybody we met was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is huge(for two of us)and would be fine for four. The best part is that it has two large roof terraces ...you can choose sun or shade all day...either way you relax to the sounds of the sea only 20 metres away. It was very well equipped. and Jose Xavier is next door if you need any help. The supermarket really is only 10 metres away!... Arrietta has a choice of restaurants all serving good seafood, but the best of all is El Amanacer....only 20 metres away....The very best food served in a friendly atmosphere at prices around 10 euros for main courses....wonderful!..You might have to queue and it closes- for Spain - early A couple of points:There is no ATM in the village so if you are planning to stay around the village as we did, bring cash. Also a smattering of Spanish would be useful..This is Spain after all !...You will not hear much English spoken here...Which makes a nice change. Needless to say we will return as soon as we can...Gracias Francisco y Jose Xavier

Preisleistung ist Super

Wer nicht auf Massentourismus steht ist hier richtig. Kleines Fischerdorf mit einheimischem Leben. Selbst im Supermarkt kommt mann mit englisch nicht weiter. Also mit Händen und Füßen versuchen. Es klappt schon. Wir waren fast nur draußen. Das Meeresrauschen ist super. Der Aufenthaltsraum (Flur) ist nicht unbedingt üppig. Dafür ersetzen die Küche und die getrennten Schlafzimmer. Am Anfang Oktober sind wir noch gut mit oder ohne Laken als Bettdecke ausgekommmen. Möchte es aber nicht im Hochsommer versuchen.

super chouette

nous avons apprécié la disponibililté et l'amabilité de josé le neveu de Francisco, l'appartement est vraiment bien propre et des petites attentions comme les gâteaux à l'orange, et une bouteille de vin étaient vraiment appréciables. Nous avons apprécié la grande terrasse face à l'océan et le supermarché juste en face de l'appartement avec des personnes bien aimables aussi. Arrieta est une station balnéaire plaisante sans trop de monde. Nous pouvons nous baigner tranquillement sans la foule, ce qui est aussi appréciable. Nous recommandons aussi d'aller au resto de la plage pas trop loin de l'appartement, super service.
