It's a beautiful small hotel that has retained the building's history, yet is comfortable and has modern facilities. It has an lovely calm atmosphere which was exactly what we were looking for. The staff we engaged with were all excellent and friendly. It's in a great location, right in the middle of the Fort. 10/10"

"Bartizan is locted on edge of Galle Fort. It has a rooftop with seating which has great sea views and more importantly a breeze in the swealtering heat! Breakfast amazing, with nice choices, staff supet freindly and very polite. Well worth booking a room with seaview or partial seaview rather than courtyard room ( although these are fine). Would recommend this hotel. "

The bed was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. About a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort. Highly recommend. "
