"The house was clean and contained everything needed for a lovely stay. It's set in a beautiful area looking over fields of sheep and horses. The hot tub works well. However, although the property is advertised as having 5 bathrooms, it should be noted that only 4 of the bedrooms are ensuite (and two of them share a Jack and Jill bathroom). There is one other bathroom but that is actually a toilet. There is also only one shower at the property, with the other two bathrooms having baths."

A good location for walks in the south of the peak district, particularly up to Hen's Cloud and the Roaches, Gradbach Mill and Lud's Church, and a little further away Miller's Dale & Chee Dale gorge. Nice to have a welcoming couple of slices of homemade cake and a jug of fresh milk on arrival. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed.
