"This cabin was just what we needed. Away from the hustle and bustle. Yet close to all kinds of things. The cabin was excellent. Check in process was easy and hassle free. The owners put a little extra with the welcome notes they left for us. We will definitely be back to stay again."

"The property was so cute and everything was so clean! The grounds and the views were breathtaking. We did do the hike up to the top of the hill to enjoy the lookout. It was a little steeper and longer than we anticipated but we'll worth it. What a great little slice of heaven. Hotub was perfect temperature and being able to hangout in the silence of the night was amazing. Would definitely do this again! "

"We loved our stay in the Joy Cabin!! It was so peaceful. We needed some down time for a couple nights. It was a perfect place to rest, be at peace and get some alone time in the woods. We Thank Donna and David our host for such a nice place and their communications were excellent! Beautiful couple! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! "

"Very accommodating host who helped secure a last minute, 2 night stay. Very rustic decor with comfortable seating, Plenty of parking. Only 4* for location as the cabin is In a rural area about 5 minutes to highway and 25 minutes to Lake Norman. This was fine for us a would be fine for anyone looking for someplace off the beaten path Very user friendly yard with patio out back and porch with swing in front. A great value for us versus a hotel room. "

"Wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed everything about it. The only thing is that if it rains follow the directions provided in welcome letter. The driveway is steep. Other than that the place is very comfortable and the owners of the property were very easy to reach and respond very quickly with any questions. "

"We spent a night in the Magnolia Cabin and just loved it. It was all as described and plan on coming back in the near future. The only thing that I can think of to add to the cabin would be to purchase hair dryers for each cabin. I did not know they did not have one and the wife was not happy. Other than that, it was a great stay!"

"This location was so beautiful and was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 9). We enjoyed hearing the stream and the fire, laying in the hammocks, exploring the creek, and watching the horses. The hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance."
