The location was perfect as it was very close to Hammondsport and on the lake. The room was very clean and was beautifully remodeled. All linens were provided including beach towels. Otherwise, there was only a frying pan to cook with, plenty of cooking utensils, plates, and cups, coffee was provided. Bed was comfortable and was adjustable which was nice. TV was a bit on the smaller side but i didn’t mind it but i could see where some might.
Now, my reason for the lower rating was the noise. We arrived on Friday night and weren’t sure about the location of the suite (it’s on the right hand corner of the building FYI) but don’t ask the staff at the restaurant because they have “nothing to do with the suites.” Another staff member (manager maybe) aimed us in the right direction. When the restaurant closed they blasted music while cleaning up until about 11. Then at 7am we were woken up by furniture being dragged along the deck, a lot of talking and yelling, and cars being driven and parked directly in front of the suite (apparently there was an event as there were boats parked there too). While the restaurant was open it wasn’t bad. The next morning we were woken up by loud music playing before the restaurant opened, but at 11am it got quiet. I found the music to be rude when they have to know there are people staying there besides them. It would’ve been a perfect stay otherwise.
