"My husband and I were very grateful that we found such a quiet location with gorgeous views of the beach and the Olympic Mountain range. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The best part was looking out the windows watching all the wildlife. We saw seals, lots of birds including Eagles, and deer walking on beach and eating in the yard.The house was well stocked with everything we needed; the beds were comfy too!! Lastly, our hosts were outstanding to work with, they gave us the option to check in...

"I arrived during a very cold afternoon and was greeted by a warm house with beautiful views. The lovely home was absolutely clean and a peaceful place. There were extra blankets provided for the extraordinarily cold days and nights. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked and so lovely. I wish I could live here full time. I truly love this place (I must as this was my second time staying in less than a year.). Truly recommend staying here!!"

"We loved the views. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The only concern was the chairs at the dining room table. The cross supports were not attached. We chose not to sit at the table. They may need to be replaced. A great place to watch the sunrise and sunsets. Close to hiking trails.We will come back. "

"I could look at the view from the main rooms of this house FOREVER! The weather was sunny but very cold, so the fireplace was much appreciated. We are an older couple who needs a place with very few stairs that will welcome our dogs - this place was perfect. Erika was communicative & helpful without being intrusive - we hope to return some day."

"We rented this beautiful home on the canal for a early family Christmas gathering. Overall the house was very comfortable and put together. The decor was very beautiful, Very calming beach themed. The floors were soft in a few areas when moving around the house, and the house is located on a very busy Street, we listened to cars and logging trucks past the house all day and all night. "This is a stunner property. Everything is there for u to enjoy. We even locked ourselves out and the owner came and kindly unlocked the house for us. The view and accomodations were outstanding and we will for sure be back! Our only recommendation is bring slippers because the main floor has cement floors that are beautiful but cold on bare feet. "The drive way was surprisingly challenging to get out of because of the limited view of north bound traffic. Thankfully 101 was not busy. Be ready for steps and a workout to unload your belongings. There are 2 good sized spots to park and the stairs are not steep. The house has windows across the front that made the stay a blessing. "What an amazing property. The home and outdoor living spaces are well cared for and thoughtfully appointed. Absolutely everything for the best lake days ever. The host's are a pleasure and so kind. "THIS PLACE IS A GEM!! Don't let the dated exterior worry you; this hotel is immaculately clean and lovingly cared for. I confess that when we first pulled up I wondered for a moment what we'd gotten ourselves into, but from the moment we walked in to the lobby we were treated warmly and kindly, with a cheerful fireplace, treats on the counter, and a receptionist who was as thorough in her job as she was thoughtful and sweet. When we first opened the door to our room, my jaw dropped with amazement. The wide angle view of the water from our room was absolutely stunning, like straight out of a painting. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy watching boats from the beautiful balcony. The room itself was like stepping into my beloved grandmother's home; every detail was so comfortable and thought out. The bed and pillows were the perfect level of softness, the shower was hot, the air thermostat worked well and was easy to adjust, and provides just the. We had flown in from out of state for just one day to work on a rental property, a stressful reason to travel to such a beautiful location, we were exhausted when we arrived and wound up going to sleep for the night at about 5:30pm. The thermostat fan was the perfect level of white noise. Breakfast was ready in the lobby at 6 and offered a perfect variety of options (HB eggs, cereal, oatmeal, tea, juice, fresh fruit). Our morning work went long and they graciously allowed us a late checkout so we could shower. What a perfect stay. "

"This was such a great location and super dog friendly. We love bringing our dogs with us so staying at a house that thinks of the dogs means a lot. Plus the view was incredible! Super friendly and easy in/out. "
