Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. "We were a little disappointed with the room, as although it was charmingly decorated, there was little space to store clothing and therefore it wasn’t convenient for the 9 nights that we’d booked it for. "A lovely place to stay. Very handy 30 minute safe and pleasant walk into Bayeux. A lovely town with history all around you. A must is to go and see the Bayeux tapestry. Nellie and Christophe are lovely people and so helpful, they can’t do enough for you. My wife and I would most definectly advise to stay here, also a big plus your car here and private parking is very good."
