"Third time renting a property for a trip to visit my student at SUNY Cortland. Best property by far! Spotlessly clean, adorable, everything you could need! I simultaneously want to tell everyone about it and totally gatekeep it for myself but if you found it, book it. Unless I want it. "We stayed in this wonderful rustic hunting lodge with a group of 7 adults. Pete and Sherry were attentive hosts and the house had everything we needed. Plenty of room. Located about 30 minutes from Ithica, it’s on 30 acres so very private. The memorabilia from 30 years of hunting expeditions and events held at their event hall were very cool. We’d definitely recommend and stay again."

"Nice cabin, quiet location. Beds are firm but comfortable and all necessities provided. House is creaky and if you stay in the lower bedroom you hear every sound from the loft. Not unbearable but if you are a light sleeper not ideal. Water did have a sulfur smell to it but it was explained in the house info book. Communication with host was great. "

"Everything from the cleanliness of the home to the hospitality and responsiveness of the host was exceptional. My family was there to attend a wedding at a local resort. Besides the wedding, we just enjoyed family time and relaxing on the porch. Had we been there longer, we would have spent time at the inviting fire pit. One of the boys spent time fishing at the nearby river. He says the biggest trout he's ever seen got away. A reason to return at a later date?!?! Anyway, the owners...

"Location was great and loved being on the lake other than that we had issues. The floors were not swept or mopped. We swept and mopped. Baseboards were dirty as well as the mantel. Smoke detectors were beeping. Someone dropped off batteries at 4am so we had to replace. Air was very musty so we pulled the a/c filters out and they were filthy. We cleaned. Clean comforters were on the floor in the closet. Washer and dryer were in the basement which was very creepy, cluttered and damp with poor...
