"The entire stay was wonderful; the only thing that was interesting (and it's probably not enough to knock a star off), but the windows in our hotel room were covered by curtains that were mostly sheer, and while it had thicker curtains, they were only hung on the edges, and only seemed to be for show. If privacy is a problem, the second floor rooms might be better for this."

"With one kid already in college locally and the other on their way there in August we have got to know this neck of the woods quite well in recent years. Driftwood Cottage provides a perfect base for visits to the area with great access to Augusta and Waterville while sitting in the idyllic Belgrade Lakes region.We don’t visit Maine for fancy, we want practical, comfortable, clean and convenient and this house that in spades. We also greatly appreciated the dog-friendliness!Hosts could not have been more welcoming or communicative. So look out, we could be back soon!Thank you!"
