"It used to be the perfect place to stay in the region, but I see it starts to lose its service level. Waiting for osomeone to come to the reception for 20 minutes and it took another 20 mins to check us in...and we are regularly going there for business."

"The room was lovely, warmnand comfortabe. I stayed for 3 nights, each night inreturned it had been cleaned, newbtea / coffee etc. The food downstairs was really nice. The only downside - BOOK IT DIRECTLY WITH THEM NOT ON 3RD PARTY SITE. If booked direct it includes belreakfast if younbook via any other website breakfast is not included"

"Stayed here before so we hopefully knew what to expect. Lovely room with a great comfy bed and facilities, shower and en-suite all working well and very clean. Short walk into town, bar and restaurant are excellent, will be back next year."

"Easy check in, parked right outside my room. Warm, clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed including a mini fridge. Excellent pub food too, and good English breakfast in the morning. All for a very affordable price too."

"Charming and lovely property and owners. Our room was so comfortable and elegant that I'm considering decorating one of our bedrooms to match. Tiny little touches like fresh cookies each day and returning to our room with soft music playing on the radio elevated the experience. I wish that we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely come back. We enjoyed the breakfast, what a great way to start the day! The tasting menu and service at dinner was exceptional. We will definitely be back!"

"We loved the idea of staying in a castle and that in itself was magical. We stayed in the Cromwell Suite which is big. The kids loved the extra room to roam. The high ceiling in the living/2nd bed area was nice and contributed to the majestic feel.There were however a few things that could have been better. Located in a quiet cul de sac in a small hamlet miles from the noise; and yet within a short drive to good pubs and country shops. This is an our second Christmas at The Barn. It’s a gem."
