"We saw the Lakeside in while visiting Mount Dora's Blueberry festival the previous year and thought it was so lovely. We stayed 2 nights. All of the employees were super nice and helpful.We loved the historic feel of the inn and the gorgeous grounds. The room was large with even a walk in closet. Furnishings were appropriate for the age of the building and in good condition. Bed was comfortable. Improvements could be made, perhaps new/cleaned carpets and provide a fridge. We loved the Lakeside Inn and will return."

"Liked everything at the property except the breakfast. The hot food wasn't hot and had No taste. No healthy cereal options just sugar loaded kids stuff. I had toast and jelly with coffee. "

"Staff was very friendly and we were traveling Tu-Wed and found it to be quiet and convenient to many options by car. Area was safe and close to a great restaurant that was on the water walking distance called Hurricanes, I believe. Nice family spot. "

"Asked for late checkout, but I guess morning staff not informed. cleaning staff keep knocking on door twice, and got a phone call from front desk. Which I had to inform that we requested a 12:30 checkout."
