"When we got to the hotel, we find it out of the city. Not as accessible as we thought it would be. But when we started exploring, it was not too bad. Train station is walkable, maybe 10-15 minutes walk. Restaurant at the spa is a bit pricey and no grocery store onsite. Small bottled water at the vendo is 3.85 euro. "Usually when I stay in smaller hotels in Germany, they look very old-fashioned and are not very clean. Landhaus Sixtmühle was just the opposite. My one-person room was extremely clean and modern. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and everything from the moment I checked in until the time I checked out went SO smoothly. I can highly recommend this place!"

"Well it started with the owner putting us in the wrong room. I paid for the larger room on line and the owner told me all the rooms are the same. As it turns out they are not. "Für Schlüsselübergabe mussten wir 80 km Umweg fahren. Die Wohnung war übervoll mit privaten Gegenständen, teilweise Müll, dreckig, das Bett zerwühlt und nicht einmal abgezogen. "Stayed for three nights with a friend to explore Munich. Very clean apartments, good little kitchen. Nothing like salt/pepper/oil for basic cooking so keep that in mind. Beds were very firm and the pillows even worse. If you’re used to anything soft you won’t get that here. Rooms were also very warm, couldn’t sleep with the doona on at night unless we opened the balcony door. Apparently they’re swapping over to heating the building from cooling and the concierge said it was helpful to know...
