"The housekeeper was so nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the steps. Didn’t say anywhere it was upstairs and 1 of us is on oxygen. It was rough getting up the hill and the stairs. I should have asked I Will be sure and ask for ground floor next time. "

"We stayed here as part of an outdoors focused trip and it was a great location. Short drive into horseshoe canyon ranch and right off the main road to head up to Eureka or down to the larger mountains. We mostly slept and cooked and it served our geoup of 5 very well!"

"The property was beautiful and secluded, very clean had surprisingly good cell service while there. The cabin had everything we needed for a weekend stay, and the owner was very communicative. I may note that the driveway is about a mile long, and is gravel so if you stay after a real heavy rain then you may want to take it easy down it in case of a few small potholes, but nothing serious. Would absolutely stay here again."

We loved watching the sunrise over the trees in the morning along with a family of deer who visited occasionally. The peaceful tranquility of the Arkansas mountains is something my family enjoys every year and this place did not disappoint. Parthenon is where my grandfather was born and raised so to pass by the little old general store...
