I really enjoyed Erin's place. I love "out of the norm" places to stay. It was fun, interesting, clean and comfortable. Erin was very responsive and a great host.

The Pulpit house is unique gem in the little village of Hagaman. It is both spacious and cozy with lovely furnishings & fully equipped large kitchen. I was impressed when I saw their pictures, but you can only truly appreciate the charm by seeing it in person.
We stayed in the Pulpit House previously and once again found it perfect for a relaxed gathering of friends. Spacious and well-equipped, it is full of interesting detail and atmosphere. Erin is unfailingly helpful and communicative. We look forward to next time!
We really enjoyed our stay. I had a question for Erin when we arrived and she responded immediately. The Stewart's across the street has everything, including great ice cream! We'd stay here again.
My wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay; the property was spacious, clean, and had an incredible ambiance. Exploring the old sanctuary upstairs was a delight, and we hardly had time to appreciate all of the character and class of the property. The hosts were gracious and responsive, and we will definitely be staying again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This is a very special place, perfect for the friends reunion we planned. It's spacious with lots of different areas for activities and conversations, and there's a great deal of entertainment in the games, instruments, and curiosities already there. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy for multiple people to operate in. We will definitely be returning!
We didn't realize we were staying in a church! Absolutely beautiful apartment with a huge kitchen and a large and wonderful area to socialize, with pool table and dartboard. Probably the first time I have stayed in a place with stained glass windows. I would definitely come back.
This was a cool place . Very nice and fun. Loved the kitchen , but only used it twice. Loved the convenance of everything. Post office , Stewart's across the street. And drive-ins down the street. We had a wonderful time.
If you’re looking for an unusual, wonderful place to stay surrounded by beautiful towns, great dining and shopping and gorgeous scenery check out the Pulpit House! My son and I came for the horse racing in Saratoga, but wanted to be able to get away from the noise and excitement at night. Not only can you bring your dog ( huge plus), you have tons of space to lounge and relax and a gourmet kitchen for preparing meals if you so choose. The bed is incredibly comfy and you’ll find everything you need. What sets this amazing place apart from others is the unique setting! You’ll love the creative, historical vibe of the place and you can’t beat Erin and Paul for quick and helpful responses to any questions you may have!
Four of my friends and I stayed at this property for a girls night away. It was amazing. The property was exactly as described and so very unique. A large beautiful kitchen made cooking dinner very easy. We truly enjoyed everything. Even a tour of the upstairs was so fun. So much to look at here. The property owner was very quick to respond to some questions I had. Would definitely consider staying again when we need a night away! Thanks for sharing your home.
We loved the openeness of the space and the unique architecture and decor. The kitchen was filled with useful cooking equipment, literally anything you might need, which was such a pleasant surprise. The location is central to anything you might need while maintaining the charm of a small town in upstate NY. The only thing that made me uneasy was the house behind the property has 2 dogs that hang out outside, alone, unrestrained (no fence or tire outs). They never bothered us, but if you travel with dogs, it's worth noting that they are there.
My Wife and I stayed one night, to attend an concert at SPAC. This location is 30 minutes or so from SPAC but the drive there and back was pretty quick and easy.
This place is amazing. My wife and I loved it. The kitchen is amazing, we didn't get to cook, but it had everything you would need. The Bathroom was great as well and the shower was one of the best we have seen at VRBO's, same with the bed.
The furniture and décor was wonderful and the morning sun through the stain glass windows was really something to witness.
We left wanting to come back again to stay longer.
This property is truly amazing! Located in what was the fellowship hall of an old Methodist church, the owners have transformed the space into a two bedroom with huge kitchen and living areas. It was perfect for our rendezvous with two teenage grandchildren who were entranced by the pool table, piano and dart board. And there’s the milkshake mixer that’s so fun to use. And the gumball machine. You really have to see this place to fully appreciate it and Hagaman is a charming little town. There was a wonderful diner two doors down and a Stewarts across the street! What more could you possibly want from a great Vrbo?!
We have 12 kids together and we needed to get away
The perfect place to spread out on the couch, have a giant meal with a professional kitchen, with no where to go. Dont get me wrong thwre is pl3ntt to do aro8jd there giwver when you are jus sick of going anywhere; right here pool table, darts, and a baby grand!!! Heaven!!! A convenient store across the street with fuel and a quiet neighborhood. We had events in Saratoga and was hesitant because of distance. Well i am glad we booked really short nice drive and everything you need right at home!!! Love there.....
We've used the Pulpit House for occasional reunions of friends, and it is just perfect for that purpose. The space is full of interesting articles and activities, and has multiple gathering places for conversations as well as a fully-stocked kitchen for preparing group meals. Erin is friendly and easy to communicate with. We'll be back!
This was my third time staying at the Pulpit House. It is so cozy, comfortable, clean and fun! I never want to get out of that fantastic bed! All of the furnishings are so interesting and unique. I discover something new every time I stay. Can't wait to go back again!
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. Spacious, clean, modern amenities, peaceful, great location. And the owners are fantastic. So helpful and conscientious. We were up there for an event in Saratoga which was a quick 25 minute drive. So glad we chose to stay there instead of in downtown Saratoga. We would absolutely stay there again!
Loved the old church. We knew the pastor who was there for 20 years! Such a lovely little town. Thank you to the owners for sharing this beautiful place and piece of history with us. Thanks to the property manager Erin who was very friendly
I loved the beauty and comfort of this amazing home. I felt very supported by Erin, the host. This home has everything to enhance time away with family and friends but I also enjoyed the silent history and peace of the lovely church, Glad I stayed!! 2 things - I was a little sad that there was no outdoor space beyond the patio in the parking lot, It was not very private. Also, I may be confused but I couldnt find a closest to hang my clothes haha!!
