"Lovely place to stay "

"What a lovely stay we had, Mel was so welcoming and lovely. We were greeted with some delicious chocolate tiffins and a bottle of Prosecco. Seahorse Lodge was immaculate and tastefully decorated, such a spacious and airy accommodation. We made the most of the hot tub and the out door space, especially in the morning being able to see the beautiful horses. Mel ensured we were comfortable and gave us some really good suggestions for places to visit and eat. We couldn’t fault a thing… 5 stars. Thank you Mel, we really appreciate your hospitality and look forward to booking again very soon!"

"I used this for a business trip. It has an allocated parking space and handily located near to supermarket, shops and food options. Cozy and nicely equipped with a good shower, kitchenette and bed."

"I booked it for my parents due to the proximity to many wonderful towns and attractions down near Lands end, they had such a wonderful time and couldn’t speak highly enough of the hosts."

"We stayed here as a family group of 10 incl. 3 generations. We found the house charming, and we were able to explore around Cornwall from Penzance to Tintagel from this central location. I chose to round up to 5 overall stars because the host was quick to assist when we needed a question answered and we were happy travelers, but I will note a few things which would've made the stay even better: We were only able to use the one shower on the ground floor because the one upstairs over the antique tub was very impractically tight. Assume you'll need to bathe or share one shower. It should be noted that the main staircase divides in one direction toward the bathroom and the bedroom with bunked beds, and then splits in the other direction toward the 3 remaining bedrooms. This means that the guests in those 3 bedrooms must go down one flight of stairs and up another to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Just want to note that for other travelers who may have difficulty on a lot of stairs in the dark. The clothes dryer vents inside, onto the floor. This creates a wet floor and a great deal of steam. While we wanted to dry our clothes, we didn't want to expose the house to that kind of steam, so we needed to open the back door and shut the door to the rest of the house whenever we needed to run that appliance. We would've much preferred just using a clothes line or drying rack, but none could be found. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would consider returning!"

"Friendly staff and locals we felt welcomed and was kept happy. Food on the pricey side but that is due to the quality of the food on offer justified the price. Found the room well maintained and clean with basic facilities. Shower was always hot when we wanted a shower tea n coffee facilities provided and a TV which we didnt use."

"The Caravan wasn't clean on handover. Hob was dirty. Shower dirty. Floor really dirty. Accidentally split a drink on floor when i cleaned it up the cloth was absolutely filthy. Beds uncomfortable mattress so hard. Sorry wont be staying again "
