"The cottage was charming and clean and faced a lovely view. There is a walking trail just out front and it was quiet and peaceful. We ate breakfast on the outside patio every morning. It’s close to amenities and we will definitely return. Highly recommend!"

"We spent 4 nights in this lovely little cottage. Katja was a fantastic host and arranged to meet us when we arrived to show us the property. She kept in touch just enough throughout our stay to let us know she was available if we needed her. We stayed in December and the cottage was cozy and warm. The kitchen is small (we cooked every meal for our family of 5) but had everything we needed. There was so much to do in the area that we could have happily stayed twice as long. La commune de Bernau est magnifique, le depart de balades et nombreuses randonnées. De nombreux lacs (schluchsee, titisee) et cascades à proximité. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir la fête de Hans Thoma durant notre sejour, fête traditionnelle de la forêt noire. "

Kein Badezimmer, Küche ist 4 m2 gross, alles war dreckig, überall alles voll mit persönlichem Krimskrams und auch alle (!!!) Schränke voll bis obenhin -> keine Verstauungsmöglichkeiten! "We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and had a lovely time. The place is actually better than the pictures. Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise."
