"Slept poorly due to combination of a "smart" thermostat that was apparently determined to blow cold air as much as it could, and blankets that were inadequate to insulate us against the icy breeze. We ended up running the heater, even though autumn temps wouldn't need it, and the darned thermostat ran cold air whenever it wasn't heating. "The renovation of the location is great. New finishes with an hint to vintage flair. I enjoyed being able to park my vehicle right outside my door. I traveled alone this time but I would have loved to have friends or family with me to enjoy sitting around the fire pit or cooking a meal under the pavilion. There is a feeling of being a part of the side of a Tennessee Mountain. Come and enjoy this hillside bungalow."

"There is nothing that the owners didn’t think of- towels great and bed super comfortable. We were on an end unit but side with other unit did hear shower loudly. Also close to road."

"As a older couple, (61,62) we were a little hesitant to rent a cabin at the top of the hill because of the steepness of the overall location, but we were able to get to our cabin with ease. I would say if you have a balance or walking issue, rent the lower cabin closest to the entrance as it's on flat ground.
