"The check in process was fast and easy. We were 'upgraded' to a first floor, parking lot side room with two queen beds which was lovely as the king was not needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and the rooms were in a state of general disrepair. The carpets in the hallways are rolling and are an accident waiting to happen. Everything feels old sad and worn. The continental breakfast lacked contents. The coffee was fresh and hot, there were juice boxes, yogurt bars, and yogurt as well as apples and bananas. There was NO toast, or pastries which are pretty much implied when one is promised a continental breakfast. I guess you get what you get....the staff looked rather embarrassed. Anyhow thanks for the memories.!"

"We came to town to ride on the Waterloo Central Railway (Santa train!!l) and were pleasantly surprised a how conveniently located the hotel was to the train stop and St. Jacob's market. We loved the pool and breakfast as well!"
