"First we got a warm welcome from the owners. They renovated the whole (farm)house themselves and they did a hell of a job. We really got the wow factor when we went inside. We were only with six people but it is deffinitly big enough for ten. The view is also very nice and you are pretty close to some lakes where you can cool down."

"Good sized room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to the old city center, which was perfect to view the Christmas decorations and Christmas markets. We didn’t swim, but the pool would be a great plus in summer. Staff was efficient, although not overly friendly. Decor in room was nothing special, but overall, the hotel was good value for the money."

We had the breakfast, which was was perfectly adequate buffet. "Near the Colmar train station and centre of bus network. Very clean, well-run and organized. Very good breakfast (extra). Front desk staff very helpful, fluent in English and German too. Indoor pool looked wonderful but I didn't use it. This property is most suited to families, and is self-catering with small stove, fridge, dishes, pots and dishwasher; there is no daily supply of towels or bedsheets.
