"On this vacation we stayed in Rome, Gubbio, Florence, Venice and Interlaken. After we finished our trip, our whole family said the highlight of the trip by far was staying here. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars isn't enough. We're giving them 100 stars! My wife had the idea to stay in a castle and this property was perfect. We had the entire place to ourselves. "The bathroom was exfremely small. It was difficult to get to the shower. This was located at the end of a very narrow bathroom. Just next to the shower, there a sink on the right side. I had 30/40cm to get into the shower, not nice. Also, the wc very close to the radiator/heating. My left knee was touching it. Considering it was hot, i could not sit comfortably at the wc. Last, the receptionist did not let me pay the local tax by debit card/bancomat. I had to pay in cash and the chat with the...

"Gorgeous location looking high over the countryside of Gubbio. The on site restaurant was delicious. Loved the shaved truffles and cream sauce pasta. The pool also provided a nice refreshing dip after the heat of walking around Gubbio (though the required disposable swimming cap was a bit odd). "

"Beautiful location, very handy for the lake (swimming, pedelos etc) and with some lovely restaurants and gelatos in the local town! Views from the property are amazing, it is very quiet and peaceful"

"We liked that it was located inbetween farm land and hills. What we didn't like was the stairs were well used to the point of almost being unsafe. But they are authentic for the time period when it was built."
